Some popular add-ons from the Marketplace are available for testing. Go to Group Buying > Add-ons (as an admin) to enable each.
User Account Testing
In order to purchase deals and test the payment process you will need to register a new user account.
Upon registering your account will be given funds to test the payment option. Normally, when a user registers they won’t be given any funds but for the demo this account balance will allow you to purchase deals and test the payment process, review vouchers/invoices and view the records within the admin.
Merchant Account Testing
After registering as a user, do the following:
- Click on your username in the top right corner
- Click the “Register your business now” link
- Complete the merchant registration form and click Register
- Logout and login as admin (demo/demo)
- Go to the dashboard and click on Merchants
- Scroll over the merchant name you created and click on Edit
- Scroll down to “Authorized Users”, assign the username to the merchant account, and click publish.
- Logout as admin and login as the user you created. You’ll now be able to edit your business information under My Account. You’ll also be able to submit deals and view your Business Dashboard. Submitted deals can only be published by an admin account.
