What does this do?

Disables the ability to purchase multiple deals by limiting the GBS cart, also provides new payment gateways for authorization and capture.

Why limit the cart?

Even though the GBS cart can consist of multiple deals ending at different dates only a single purchase is made with the payment gateway. Since deals can end at different times and end with different prices GBS needs the ability to capture different portions of that authorized payment multiple times. Not all gateways allow this, including Authorize.net and NMI. Limiting the cart to a single deal provides GBS with the ability to capture a single payment with these limited gateways.

So I’ll be able to use Tipping Points, Dynamic Pricing, etc.?

Yes. That’s why we buit this add-on. So GBS owners using one of the gateways below can have the same features that someone using Paypal has.

Does this affect quantity purchases?

No. Your customers can purchase more than one of that same item, just they can’t add another item to the cart.

What’s the real drawback here?

Not much. If you’re a site that only has one deal available at a time–you’re customers wont even notice a cart limitation; those GBS sites with multiple deals available at the same time–customers will only be able to add a single deal to their cart.
